The Safe and Sound Protocol with Somatic Movement
Session Overview
The Safe and Sound Protocol, developed by Dr. Stephen Porges, uses specially filtered, patented music to gently retune the nervous system, promoting a more regulated physiological state and laying a strong foundation for healing.
Many people report the following after completing the SSP:

The protocol involves five 1-hour private sessions, scheduled once per week. Each session includes 15 minutes of SSP listening followed by 45 minutes of guided somatic movement and nervous system coaching. Between sessions, you’ll listen independently for approximately 15 minutes on three additional days.
If you have not completed the Release Chronic Stress Cycles with Polyvagal Theory and Somatics Class you would need to have at least 1 additional private lesson prior to beginning the SSP.
Equipment Needed
Non-noise-cancelling, over-ear headphones that fully cover the ears for optimal sound delivery and immersion. There are affordable options at $30-$50
A reliable phone, tablet, or computer to access the SSP via the Unyte ILS app.
