Foundations of Movement
Class Overview
Mobility, Awareness, and Stability through Pilates. This class centers around three foundational movement principles: enhancing mobility, increasing body awareness, and improving overall stability. It is well-suited for individuals with no prior Pilates experience, providing an opportunity to learn exercises and understand their impact on the body.
The class also introduces participants to the nervous system's different states and their influence on movement quality, stress, and pain perception. This class may utilize Pilates Reformer, Tower or Chair equipment.
